For some time the renal ward has been seeking funds for an upgrade to support existing vital which was severely overstretched and future growth of the units demand.
The existing Renal Dialysis and Renal Osmosis equipment was dated and in dis-repair with the extreme risk of complete failure. A full and robust business case was developed by Alterego to ensure that a budget was awarded to facilitate the initialization of the project within a set but demanding timescale.
The project was then managed over a construction period of twelve weeks.
The installation of the essential new Renal Osmosis plant has now offered the service within the hospital a new lease of future growth potential for the benefit of the patients within the Shrewsbury and Telford area.
