This was a simple refurbishment project concentrating on more open space visual approach. Cosmetic standard was introduced for future consideration within NHS facilities. Enhanced reception area was introduced for betterment to all concerned.
Usual issues were present such as upgrading infrastructure as existing was decaying and in some cases defective. Most of the hospitals old domestic water pipe work was copper, which through time corrodes. New stainless steel pipe work was introduced as standard. New Electrical upgrade included the upgrade of Electrical boards.
Asbestos removal was one of the key factors to allow main works to commence.
