Organisation: NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde
Hospital: Inverclyde Royal Hospital
Project: New Entrance and Entrance Hall
Value: £220, 000
Timescale: 2013-2014
In a bid to enhance the main entrance to the hospital and reduce smoking activity within the immediate area the board appointed the team to design and construct a more visually coordinated concept, which would improve and offer a more welcoming approach to the hospital. Further considerations had to be undertaken with the issues surrounding public and traffic management including the operational aspects of the ambulance vehicles as the conducted their service.
The construction process included the creation of a new entrance hall and improved cosmetic appearance of the signage and canopy leading to the hospital main areas.
Once again meticulous communication with all user groups and hospital management generated exactly what was requested and the new development received many compliments from all concerned.
